Our Return & Exchange Promise
We stand behind the quality of our plants like a gardener stands behind their favorite tree. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return most items within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
Important Note: Due to the living nature of our products, CRAPE MYRTLES, Eucalyptus Trees, FRUIT TREES & PLANTS, and JAPANESE MAPLE TREES cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or diseased. Please inspect these plants immediately upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours if there are any issues.
Return & Exchange Process
Step 1: Initiate Your Request
Contact our customer care team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item (especially important for plant returns)
- Reason for return/exchange
Step 2: Receive Authorization
Our plant specialists will review your request within 2 business days. For eligible returns, we’ll provide:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping instructions (if applicable)
- Prepaid return label (for our error or damaged items)
Step 3: Ship Your Return (If Required)
For non-plant items or packaging materials:
- Pack items securely in original packaging when possible
- Include the return authorization number on the package
- Ship to: US Fruit Trees Returns, 369 Ruth Avenue, Mountain View, US 94043
Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Exchange
Once we receive and inspect your return (if applicable):
- Refunds: Processed within 5 business days to your original payment method
- Exchanges: Shipped within 3-5 business days via your preferred shipping method
Refund Details
Your refund will include:
- Full purchase price of returned items
- Original shipping costs (if return is due to our error)
Please note:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error
- Refunds may take 3-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution
Special Considerations for Live Plants
Because we care deeply about plant health:
- We cannot accept returns of healthy plants that have left our nursery
- For damaged or diseased plants, we may request photos rather than physical return
- In some cases, we may issue a refund or replacement without requiring return shipment
